Summerfield Sites are a gift from Summerfield/Siloam United Methodist Church - located in inner-city Philadelphia.
If you're nearby, we hope you'll stop by so we can get to know you!

The youth of our neighborhood and church are one of Summerfield's strongest commitments. We have a full-time youth pastor, Heidi Dryfhout. Pastor Dan has 25 years of youth ministry experience. Numerous members of the church are involved in actively helping the youth of our neighborhood grow into their potential as followers of Jesus.
Summerfield's Youth Ministry includes:
We take plenty of trips for all ages! Please note that "family" includes folks of all ages - regardless of marital status or whether or not you have minor children. The one rule as far as that goes is that minor children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
You may sign up for these trips on the Youth Ministry bulletin board, located on the wall near the main (Dauphin Street middle) entrance. Please sign up at least one week in advance.
This year's family trips are listed on the calendar.
Faith ’N’ Works
Christian-based Recovery Program
Fridays @ 7pm
Summerfield
Konrad Square / E. Dauphin & Tulip
please note that that currently the program will be for men only,
although we are in the process of forming women’s groups
Faith’N’Works is a recovery meeting for those struggling with substance abuse. We put Christ first, and also work with the Beatitudes and the 12 steps. The same Jesus that performed miracles thousands of years ago is still saving people today.
We are all God’s children, but have lost contact with the Father. Christ came to teach us how to have a close relationship with the Father. Faith “N” Works helps people to know Jesus and adopt Christ-like principles in their lives. If you or someone you know is interested please contact Josh Vorbau @ 215-756-4761.
Music is integral to who we are at Summerfield.
In Traditional Worship:
Our choir will be one of the best you've ever heard. With a core quartet of professional singers, the choir is able to sing everything from classical to folk to contemporary choral music with inspiring quality. Quality solos and small group numbers are part of each week's worship. Our choir director, John Shaw, is a professional music educator.
Our keyboardist is also very talented. In addition to playing the organ and piano for us, the Rev. James Correnti (Jim to all of us) is an ordained pastor who is currently a professional piano player. He also teaches keyboarding at two Philadelphia-area universities.
Tuesday Night Women
Tuesday Night Women meet weekly on (amazingly enough) Tuesday night.
6 pm starts refreshment and fellowship.
6:30 - 7:30 is Bible & discussion time.
This is followed by prayer and more fellowship.
Other activities include socials like movies and bowling, and helping in other ministries.
If you're an adult woman, you'll love this group which is fun and energetic, yet-also down-to-earth and real, Jesus-centered group.
For more information, please contact Bethany Livingston.

If I were to have a heart attack right at this moment, I hope I would have just enough air in my lungs and just enough strength in me to utter one last sentence as I fell to the floor: "What a ride!" - Mike Yaconelli
